About Mangy Moose Lodge
The Mangy Moose Lodge has stunning views across the valley of speeding shot-over jet boats right from the deck , lounge and kitchen windows.

The Moonlight Track
The Moonlight Track was originated to give access to Mote lake and the Moonlight Creek which in turn flows into the Shotover River, originally all for greed and the elusive gold.
On the Mangy Moose Lodge land, they used to sleuth with water from big ponds built for gravity feed water canons which washed rock and mud down to the river looking for gold.
These are now flat plateaus which you can see from the lodge deck. There are still old historical ruins down in the bottom corner of the property.
